Whole system solution
Gable Restraint System

Developed in collaboration with national housebuilders, the Trussed Rafter Association, and industry partners, our innovative five‑part system provides a reliable solution for connecting timber gables to masonry walls.
Engineered solution
Designed for Safe and Compliant Load Transfer
The GRS system has been developed to safely transfer lateral wind loads from masonry and timber gable ends into the braced roof diaphragm, ensuring a secure connection between timber gable panels and masonry walls.
The system offers flexibility in design, with options for either a continuous wall plate or a stepped wall plate, where the gable wall plate is raised to suit the bottom chord depth of the truss. Both configurations are fully compliant with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
GRS System Components
The GRS System consists of five specified product components, each engineered to perform as part of a fully integrated system.
